Finally "The City" and i don't mean Whitney's and Olivia's badly scripted bitching, i refer to the brand spanking new EP from Patrick Wolf from his fifth album "Lupercalia" yet to be released. Not a lot to say about it really apart from its the best song to listen to if you feeling that you need some motivation, his happy sounds his driving head-nodder of a beat, his piano and pitchshifted sound is typical for Patrick Wolf's music, nothing but effortlessly, irresistibly dramatic and uplifting. Well I love it and cannot wait to see him live at the end of the month!

My look is practically sorted already, I am going for preppy Americana with heavy jewellery to top it up! You cannot go to see Patrick without making an effort on your appearance. The crowd is like the new version of Blitz! I would definitely be blogging from the event but for now I can only listen and yearn for more Patrick to come.

Today I discovered the that the new Beth Ditto EP was available on i-tunes and yes I bought it and now I have must have definitely played it around a hundred times already!

The sexy video, a homage to Madonna's "justify my love" is brilliant and loving Beth's playful side making bigger girls look hot. I love the new collaboration with simian mobile disco, the genius behind records like "Temporary Pleasure" that gave us songs like "audacity of huge" and the first collaboration with Beth "cruel intentions". now we got a taste we need more and definitely love dancing to all of them!

THE NEW EDITOR AT LARGE



Since I have been extremely busy with other projects I had to employ someone else to aid my blog needs. Her name is Mimi cat fashion extraordinaire. She has worked along with some of the most influential fashion people and her work has been published internationally. Her keen eye for detail has put her among people like Anna Wintour, Alexandra Shulman, Robin Derrick, Dasha Zhucova and many more. She has been present in all front rows and with her PA Milo have almost covered all the international fashion houses. These are some of the reason i had her employed.

In October 2008 Maison Martin Margiela celebrated its 20th anniversary. The exhibition at Somerset house is a retrospective view of one of the most influential fashion houses.

Martin Margiela together with Jenny Meirens established the fashion house and re-defined the 1980s with their pioneering designs that still influence the construction or maybe the deconstruction of the garments today. His revolutionary and demode' designs 20years ago became familiar almost mainstream. There is not a single designer that has not been influenced by his work in someways.

I loved all the themes and concepts of Maison Martin Margiela was all about and i can't wait for another 20 years of innovation.
