Blogg along

Well I know I have seriously disappeared from planet blogg due to my "heavy" commitments with my real estate craziness! I have no idea how it happened but i ended up buying a house and cheat fashion with real estate and vogue with living etc!

Needless to say that my main request in my new "crib" was wardrobes wardrobes wardrobes! And I got lots of them! Now that my archives have been happily moved and all hanging colour coded and have three drawers just for accessories (always envied that) I can happily comeback to what I like to do with my many hours I spare and that is blogging!

I have missed so many events but I will not start backdating things and reflecting on the past!

I am going back home after my short 48 hr fully fun packed weekend in my beloved Londinioum! Where I managed to have dinner at Pizza east (veal meatball pizza highly recommended) dance myself to death at cargo, wake up for vintage and furniture shopping at Islington where I stayed! Then Get ready for the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition at the national gallery, cocktails at SkyLon (French fashion martinis reminded of my mothers cherry liqueur that I was drinking when I was younger on special occasions) then dinner at the Corinthian (service was poor, shame but the hake was very tasty). And all of the above followed by Ponystep at East Blok!

After a extra dose of coffee and some scrambled eggs with salmon I am on my way in the train with a very smelly man in front of me (well I think it's him I can smell fish). Another hour to go and I will be home to see my beloved mimi and prince!

That's all for now!

Ps: good news while I was proofreading the post smelly man moved! Happy days! I can now stretch my tired legs and travel happy! Still smells though!

This House is Home

I am currently obsessed with the new single and new music video of "House", the lyrics are insane, the music is insane, the fashion credits are insane, the direction insane! love obsessed love and obsessed!Sing your little hearts away!

Oh, I love this house, I love this house
Gives me the greatest peace I've ever known
Oh, I love to hear those conkers fall
Smash 'em on and Suffolk stone

That I love that here you live with me
Gives me the greatest peace I've ever known
Cause I've been too long a lonely man
Yes I've been too long a rolling stone

So let seasons turn
Grow paradise garden
And to my migration
the native has returned

Oh, I love the curling of your hair
Gives me the greatest peace I've ever known
I see your Dylan Thomas in your face
The silent buckling in your grace
Grace, grace, your grace

So let seasons turn
Grow paradise garden
And to my migration
The native has returned

And if I have to die today
Scatter my ashes on this place
And I'll live on in your grieving heart
but until that day that we depart

Oh, this is the greatest peace I've known
Oh, the greatest peace I've ever known
Oh, the greatest peace I've ever known
Oh, the love makes this house a home

Home, home, home
This house is home

The City

Finally "The City" and i don't mean Whitney's and Olivia's badly scripted bitching, i refer to the brand spanking new EP from Patrick Wolf from his fifth album "Lupercalia" yet to be released. Not a lot to say about it really apart from its the best song to listen to if you feeling that you need some motivation, his happy sounds his driving head-nodder of a beat, his piano and pitchshifted sound is typical for Patrick Wolf's music, nothing but effortlessly, irresistibly dramatic and uplifting. Well I love it and cannot wait to see him live at the end of the month!

My look is practically sorted already, I am going for preppy Americana with heavy jewellery to top it up! You cannot go to see Patrick without making an effort on your appearance. The crowd is like the new version of Blitz! I would definitely be blogging from the event but for now I can only listen and yearn for more Patrick to come.

I wrote the book!

Today I discovered the that the new Beth Ditto EP was available on i-tunes and yes I bought it and now I have must have definitely played it around a hundred times already!

1: i wrote the book

2: goodnight goodmorning

3: open heart surgery

4: do you need someone

The sexy video, a homage to Madonna's "justify my love" is brilliant and loving Beth's playful side making bigger girls look hot. I love the new collaboration with simian mobile disco, the genius behind records like "Temporary Pleasure" that gave us songs like "audacity of huge" and the first collaboration with Beth "cruel intentions". now we got a taste we need more and definitely love dancing to all of them!

Costume jewellery

Costume jewellery is the new black!

Silver Ring H&M, silver two finger ring TOPMAN

Recently for some weird reason maybe inspired by McQueen and excessive accessorising I got these amassing pieces from my trustworthy TOPMAN! You should definitely go and buy the 2 FINGER FLOATING SKULL times 2!
floating skull rings from TOPMAN

and turn it into your homemade knuckleduster!

that was another
brilliant idea from me to you guys out there!

The Wings strech ring looks insane paired with the oversized skull ring and my vintage T&co silver ring

skull ring H&M, silver band T&co vintage, silver wing ring TOPMAN

also the Westwood inspired long silver armour ring a statement ring for every middle finger out there, you may give it but why not give it in style? as demonstrated bellow

Long silver ring TOPMAN

I definitely do suggest you visit the accessory dept and start loading your archives with costume jewellery! I am starting the trend and you should totally follow! Dress those fingers with heavy metallics. Jewellery is not just for girls!

Since I have been extremely busy with other projects I had to employ someone else to aid my blog needs. Her name is Mimi cat fashion extraordinaire. She has worked along with some of the most influential fashion people and her work has been published internationally. Her keen eye for detail has put her among people like Anna Wintour, Alexandra Shulman, Robin Derrick, Dasha Zhucova and many more. She has been present in all front rows and with her PA Milo have almost covered all the international fashion houses. These are some of the reason i had her employed.
